Timothy studied at the Rambert School before moving on to the Rambert Dance Company under the artistic directorship of Richard Alston.
He then went on to work at various companies, including the Ton Simons and Brenda Daniels Dance Companies in New York.
Upon leaving, he went on to take his current position with the Dance company LeineRoebana in Amsterdam where he is also Artistic Director of ITS Festival Amsterdam.
