Performance opportunities and opportunities to work with Guest Teachers are of paramount importance to the training of our students with regular workshops and weekly Fresh Friday classes.

Rambert School is renowned for producing passionate, expressive dancers and innovative choreographers. These outcomes are not accidental: they come through a strong emphasis on performance throughout the course, and through repeated opportunities for students to explore their creative ideas.

We are delighted to welcome a broad range of guest teachers to school on a weekly basis. Guest teachers expose students to different styles of dance and teaching methods, diversifying their training and making them more versatile and employable dancers. Discover more about our Staff here.

Whilst we value our performances greatly they put further pressure on our already tight budgets and we are seeking partners to support this special Celebration performance. By supporting us you will not only be helping to give our young dancers with an invaluable learning opportunity, you will be part of a historic moment in dance performance.

Rambert School’s facilities support the learning, teaching and research needs of students and staff and provide access to resources on dance and related subjects in a variety of formats. Facilities include study space, a film viewing area, open access computers, printing and photocopying, wifi and specialist software. The library also subscribes to a range of electronic resources through Open Athens. All new students receive a library induction and ongoing support throughout their studies. Further information about services for existing students, is available on the School’s Virtual Learning Environment, Moodle.

We offer state-of-the-art facilities including our studio theatre and Grade II listed Violet Needham Chapel which houses our Weston studio. Students have access to changing rooms, rehearsal spaces, gym and library. This year our facilities have become even more flexible so that we can adapt to government guidelines from streaming classes to segregating classes effectively.
We are looking to expand further and our Capital Appeal is supporting out expansion plans.
