Rambert Grades

Rambert Grades is an innovative framework for contemporary dance training.

The aim of Rambert Grades is to create a new training that empowers and sets a benchmark of excellence in contemporary dance. The process has creativity at its core and has been developed to support teachers in the development of emerging talent. With an emphasis on a practical framework, exams are part of the journey and not the main focus.

This is what makes the Rambert dancers special and exceptional dance artists and we believe the same about all the young people studying dance around the world’.

Rambert Grades have been developed by a leading team of experts from Rambert and Rambert School with some of the most dynamic and relevant voices of contemporary dance in the UK – including material devised for the syllabus by Hofesh Shechter, Alesandra Seutin and Benoit Swan Pouffer. This approach is inclusive and accessible to all, regardless of students’ ability and prior experience of formal dance training.
