Update on EVOLVE performances, classes, and courses

Due to the ongoing developments in the spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19, Rambert School have taken the decision to postpone our planned EVOLVE performances (30th March – 3rd April) as well as cancelling the remainder of this term’s classes and courses from today onwards (Tuesday 17 March). The School continues to follow Public Health England guidance to education organisations in not closing and we have no diagnosed cases, but in safeguarding our students, staff, and visitors we have taken this decision to suspend the majority of activity onsite.

If you are in the categories below, please read the relevant information. For all other questions, please get in touch at info@rambertschool.org.uk.

For those with EVOLVE tickets

You will be issued a refund from Eventbrite automatically as we process the ticket cancellations over the next couple of weeks (this can take 5-7 days to transfer after our cancellation so please bear with us) and we will let you know all news about when and how the show will be put on once the situation has improved.

The School is a registered charity, and as such relies on a diverse mix of funding from the government for our students and directly through our shows, classes, and charitable giving. Like many organisations who are having to cancel their activities in light of government guidance, we would really appreciate your ongoing support in the midst of this challenging time and beyond it. Therefore, if upon receiving your ticket refund you would like to donate the cost to our Student Bursary Fund, it will go straight towards helping the next generation of dancers as your ticket cost would have done. For now, many thanks for supporting Rambert School and we look forward to welcoming you to the School soon.

For those who attend classes

Once classes are available again we will be in touch with you and bookings will be available – however it is likely that we will need to postpone the beginning of next term’s classes, if this is the case we will update our website accordingly and booking will remain unavailable.

Therefore, we are offering two options to our classes participants:

Donate of amount of cancelled class/es to our Student Bursary Fund, allowing us to support the next generation of dancers through their education at the School.

Full refund of the class/es cancelled to be made on request (only if you have paid for the term or have already booked a drop-in adult class.

To let us know which option you choose, please email Citi Cheshire atciti.cheshire@rambertschool.org.uk stating your full name and contact details. If we do not hear from you by a week after your last booked class, we shall assume you would like the remaining cost for this term donated to the Student Bursary Fund.

For now, many thanks for supporting Rambert School and we look forward to welcoming you to the School again soon.

If you are part of our Pre-Vocational course

This cancellation includes all Saturday rehearsals, performance opportunities and extra workshops/trips that have been organised.

We will be in contact with you regarding resuming sessions next term, and your tutors and course leaders will be sending you some more details soon about things to think about over the coming weeks.
