The Soldier's Tale - Rambert School, RAM & RADA Collaboration

At Rambert School we are fortunate to take part in a host of outreach activities, collaborations and performances every year. Next up is The Soldier’s Tale, a collaboration between The Junior Academy (JA) of the Royal Academy of Music, RADA Youth Company and Rambert School.

The programme features a unique performance of Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale, featureing original choreography from Third Year FD/BA student Magnus Westwell performed by fellow FD/BA students. It also feature the world premieres of six short compositions by JA students, with original choreography from six of our FD/BA students and performances from students of our Pre-Vocational Course.

This collaboration brings together students excelling in their chosen fields and aims to help them to form interdisciplinary skills, relationships and working partnerships.  Such opportunities have the potential to challenge the young artists, enrich the creative experience and to inform future career paths.

The performance is at the Susie Sainsbury Theatre, at the Royal Academy of Music, on Saturday 23rd February.
