NEW | Summer Intensive, Italy 2024

This is the first time that Rambert School is offering a summer intensive outside of their home in West London. The intensive is designed for students aged 14 years and above and is modelled on the timetable of the full-time FD/BA Hons degree programme offered at Rambert School. The course provides students with a chance to learn from Rambert School faculty, alumni and guest artists, and prepares them for auditions in a professional training environment. 

The Italy intensive will mirror the UK summer course with a timetable running from 9 am to 6 pm every day. Dancers will begin each morning with a ballet class, followed by either floor work and improvisation or ballet repertoire and contemporary technique class before a lunch break. Each afternoon, dancers will participate in a contemporary repertoire class followed by a creative session. 

All classes will be taught by current Rambert School staff and Rambert School alumni. On the last day of the summer intensive, all works created during the week will be performed in a sharing open to parents and the public.

Dates: Monday 22 July – Saturday 27 July 2024. 

Location: Avezzano, Italy

Course fee: £400 (approx. 466€)

Applicants must be at least 14 years old on the 1 July 2024. There are no other application requirements. Please note, you do not need to have pointe work experience to participate in this course.
