Rachel Tranter has over 24 years’ experience of working in Arts and Culture across a broad range of art specialisms. Rachel worked for the London Borough of Richmond for 20 years as Curator and Head of Arts leading a £5m transformation of Orleans House Gallery in four phases generously supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and local donors. Rachel is passionate about dance – she led the Leap into Dance and Partners in Dance Festivals, initiated the Borough’s Richdance Festival and developed a number of innovative site specific dance projects including the Arts Council supported Dance in Libraries programme working with a wide range of choreographers including Frauke Requardt, Seke Chimutengwende and Dog Kennel Hill Project. Rachel joined Rambert School in 2017 and is enjoying making links between Rambert School and the local community, alongside her work focusing on the future development of the School.
