Neelam’s professional journey began in lecturing economics and business law, and now runs her own consultancy business to provide leadership expertise in regulatory compliance and transformational change to universities, colleges, and awarding organisations.
Neelam is a highly experienced higher education consultant with over 25 years of expertise in the sector. She has driven change on both the academic and professional services sides of numerous UK universities, including the University of Manchester, University Nottingham, Birmingham City University , Coventry University, University of Bedfordshire, Middlesex University, St. Mary’s University London, NMITE, RADA, SOAS, Pearson, and the Department for Education (DfE). She is particularly interested in organisational success having led change management projects across curricula, people, processes, systems and operating models. These have included setting up an institution-wide Anti-Racism project to tackle structural racism to onboarding an international provider. She has also held a number of EDI NED positions.
