Graduate survey for Alumni
23rd July 2019
“One of our greatest joys at Rambert School is hearing of the progression, successes, and achievements of our alumni as you embark on and develop in your careers. The story of the School is inextricably linked to the stories of our graduates: it is our responsibility and privilege to equip you fully for wherever you go and whatever you do, whether within the dance sector or outside of it. In order to establish the effectiveness of how we do this, and consequently help finesse our training for future generations of Rambert School students, as well as make the case in the wider sector for the vital importance of training organisations like ours, please could I ask you to take a short time to fill out this survey from the Conservatoire of Dance and Drama. My thanks in advance, and best wishes from all of us.”
Message from Amanda Britton, Principal and Artistic Director
We would like to invite you to take an online survey about your experiences at Rambert School and your career to date.
CRAC is working with the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama (CDD) to undertake research with graduates from CDD’s member schools, of which Rambert School is one. Together we want to understand more about the career paths that graduates like you have taken and your perceptions about career satisfaction and how that relates to training in one of these world-renowned performing arts Schools. This will help the Schools demonstrate the role they play in developing talent and the artforms concerned but also the breadth of careers and contributions of their graduates.
The survey asks about your current employment and other activities and your perceptions of your training at Rambert School and its impact. It should not take you more than about 15 minutes. Although few questions are compulsory, we would like you to answer as many questions as possible so that we maximise the number of responses and thereby the validity of the survey.

The survey will remain open until 31 July, but please do not delay your response. As an incentive, all survey respondents are eligible to take part in our free prize draw for a shopping voucher for £200.
If you have more than one degree from the School, please respond in relation to your undergraduate degree/course.
All results will be used on an anonymised basis in the research report that we write – no individuals will be identifiable. For clarity, your responses will not be shared with your School, so you can be fully open in your answers.
In the survey you will be invited to give your consent to participate in the research. You will also be asked if you are willing for your contact details to be stored and re-used by the CDD and by your School as one of its graduates. More information about the way we store and process your data is available in our Data Privacy Notice on the CRAC website, where you can also find Terms & Conditions for the prize draw.
