Fresh Friday with Robbie Ordona

After a short hiatus of Fresh Friday workshops due to preparations for our Pre[view] shows next week, we’re excited to welcome a new guest teacher to Clifton lodge today.

Robbie Ordona is a mixed-Filipino dancer and choreographer based in London, specialising in Hip-Hop and contemporary. Robbie has worked with acclaimed choreographers such as Akram Khan, is a currently touring in Kate Prince’s latest production for Zoonation ‘Message In A Bottle’ and you can also spot him on the newly released Netflix series Dance100.

Robbie enjoys training the next generation of dancers, and in recent years has taught many masterclasses around the UK and Europe. He explains that in his Fresh Friday workshop with Rambert School’s second and third years, he aims to “push them outside of their comfort zone. To challenge them in their use of musicality, dynamics, pick up and movement vocabulary through drills and choreography.”
