Fresh Friday with Mark Bruce

We’re excited to kick off our weekly Fresh Friday workshops with Mark Bruce.

Mark has danced, choreographed and directed internationally for over 30 years, working with Rosas, Bern Ballet, Ballet Black, Introdans, Gibson/Martelli, The Royal Exchange Manchester among others. He formed his own company in 1991 to pursue his vision of dance theatre with a  cinematic aesthetic and a unique choreographic voice. He also composes music, published by Mute Song. He is a photographer, film maker and editor. His book ‘On Choreography and Making Dance Theatre’ was published by Oberon in 2018.

Today Mark will be teaching our second and third year students his own company repertoire, and giving an insight into his creative process.
