Fresh Friday with Madeline Harms

This week’s Fresh Friday, Rambert School is pleased to welcome Madeline Harms. Our Fresh Friday workshops give second and third year Rambert School students the opportunity to have an external dance artist work with them outside of their regular curriculum.

Originally born and raised in Australia, Madeline Harms moved to Europe in 2010 to complete her professional studies at Codarts University for the Arts, Rotterdam. After graduating she danced with youth dance company, Dantzaz Konpainia in San Sebastian, Spain, before basing herself in The Netherlands as a freelancer and working with numerous choreographers including Itzik Galili and David Middendorp. In 2017 she joined tanzmainz, Staatstheater Mainz, and over five years she created and worked with choreographers Sharon Eyal, Guy Weizmann and Roni Haver, Roy Assaf, and Rafäele Giovanola, among many others. Throughout her career she has researched and studied Countertechnique under the guidance of founder Anouk van Dijk, and became a certified teacher in 2021.

Madeline is excited to introduce some of the methods behind her class by sharing practical information but, simply wants to find the joy in movement with our students.
