Darren Ellis appointed as Deputy Principal of Rambert School

We are pleased to announce that Darren Ellis has been appointed as Deputy Principal of Rambert School.

With a wealth of experience, Darren originally trained at the School (1987-1990). He has since danced for many different companies including Wayne McGregor/ Random Dance, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, Mark Bruce Dance Company and Richard Alston Dance Company, where he was also Rehearsal Director.

Since 2007, he has made six works for his own company, Darren Ellis Dance, and two for Richard Alston Dance Company; and his solo shows have toured nationally and internationally. Most recently, he worked at the School as Production and Rehearsal Director.

He also teaches for professional dance companies including Rambert, New Adventures, DV8, National Dance Company Wales and Richard Alston Dance Company.
