Ayman Safiah 1991-2020

We recently learned the devastating news that former Rambert School student Ayman Safiah has drowned whilst on a camping holiday in Israel.

Ayman (29) was a supremely talented Palestinian dancer originally from Kfar Yasif, Galilee.  His training at Rambert School was generously supported by the Clore Israel Foundation. Upon graduation in 2012, he went on to have a hugely successful career, performing in ‘Cats’ in the West End and Les Ballet C de la B (Belgium) among other work, before returning to Israel, where he was teaching, choreographing and performing.
We are devastated to learn of Ayman’s tragic death. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this terrible time.
