Having specialised in European languages and literature at University, Myra Townsend continues to study the Japanese language.
She initially worked in advertising but subsequently began teaching in local schools, colleges and universities. In addition to ESOL teaching, she was Richmond Adult College ‘Access to University’ Coordinator and English Language and Literature Head of Section for many years. Myra has always had a keen interest in ballet and other dance forms and also enjoys gym workouts, dance classes and foreign travel.
