We currently seek a Participation & Outreach Assistant to support and help further the development of the School’s participation, outreach & WP department and an Academic Support & Learning Resources Coordinator to support students through their academic journey. Participation & Outreach Assistant  Full-time Role 

The Participation & Outreach Assistant will support the Head of Participation, Outreach & WP, and will work closely with the WP Research & Evaluation Analyst, to drive, monitor and evaluate the successful implementation of the projects, aims and objectives outlined in the Access and Participation Plan. This opportunity is hands-on and will enable the successful candidate to hone and develop their skills and experience in an exciting and forward-facing role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administration of applications for the departments Future Access Projects and Short Courses.
  • Day-to-day administrative support for wider departmental activities, including database management, management of relevant Microsoft Teams sites, managing registers and student attendance.
  • Main contact and point of liaison with students and parents of Future Access Projects and Short Courses, including supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Participants,
  • Basic financial administration.
  • Administrate participation and outreach activities with external stakeholders, such as schools, colleges, and community groups.
  • Build and maintain excellent partnerships with local and national schools, colleges, relevant organisations, communities, and other stakeholders.

Academic Support & Learning Resources Coordinator

The Academic Support & Learning Resources Coordinator will support undergraduate and postgraduate students through their academic journey at Rambert School.

The post-holder will:

  • Provide specialist study skills tuition and support for students diagnosed with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD) and neurodiversity.
  • Support students throughout their academic journey, by identifying relevant scholarly sources, locating physical and virtual resources, understanding academic conventions, and improving their confidence with scholarly skills, vocabulary, referencing and more general study skills.
  • Maintain and develop the Rambert School Library and the physical and virtual learning resources for the students and staff of the School.
  • Support student learning through the provision of research and study skills.
