Design for Dance is a programme of original workshop dance pieces created by students on the Central Saint Martin’s BA Performance Design & Practice course, in collaboration with student choreographers and dancers from Central School of Ballet, London Studio Centre or Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

The aim of the project is to enable young choreographers, dancers and designers to collaborate in the creation of new dance. All the work is created by current students, with the emphasis on experimentation within the dance form. The work is presented in a professional context and every attempt is made to follow professional working processes, as a learning experience for all participating students.

There are two separate shows. Each show will feature a selection of pieces from all three participating dance schools.

Show A: Wednesday 1st & Friday 3rd March at 7.30pm
Show B: Thursday 2nd & Saturday 4th March at 7.30pm
